1. What is the Startup Workshop?

The Startup Workshop is an intensive programme that supports founders, startups and spin-offs in further developing their business ideas. Over the course of several weeks, we offer workshops, coaching and access to a network of experts.

2. Who can take part in the Startup Workshop?

Anyone who has an idea and wants to found a company can take part - whether individuals, teams, existing start-ups or spin-offs. You will find like-minded people at the Startup Workshop!

3. How does the Startup Workshop work?

The programme spans several weeks, from 27 September to 25 October, and includes various workshops and coaching sessions on topics such as business model canvas, financial planning and market strategy.

4. How can I register for the Startup Workshop?

5. What is Startup Day?

Startup Day is an event during the Startup Workshop where budding entrepreneurs, existing startups, spin-offs and interested parties come together to network, exchange ideas and learn from inspiring success stories. Experts from a wide range of fields will be on hand to answer questions from Startup Workshop participants.

6. Who should take part in Startup Day?

The Startup Day is aimed at anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship and startups - regardless of whether you have already founded a company, are in the process of doing so or are simply curious.

7. When and where does the Startup Day take place?

You can find the exact details of the Startup Day on our website. The event is organised as part of the Startup Workshop.

8. Do I have to participate in the entire Startup Workshop in order to take part in Startup Day?

No, participation in the Startup Day is independent of the Startup Workshop. You can register for both events separately.

9. How much does it cost to take part in the Startup Workshop and Startup Day?

Participation in both events is free of charge, but prior registration is required.

11. Is participation in the workshops and coaching sessions compulsory?

Participation is voluntary, but is strongly recommended in order to maximise the benefits of the Startup Workshop.

12. Are the Startup Workshop workshops also offered online?

Yes, the workshops of the Startup Workshop will be online. The Startup Day and the Final Pitch are on site in Leoben.

13. Can I also take part in the Startup Workshop if I mainly speak English?

Yes, we offer videos in which the workshops are presented in English by an AI (Ava Start). The individual coaching sessions and the final pitch can also be held in English. Only the Startup Day will be held in German.
